whole range of opportunities to develop your skills and knowledge. Talented, creative top performers rapidly progress through the

we are particularly interested in recruiting for programmers, artists, animators, designers, next-gen artists, sound engineers and managers.

Do you take work placement students?
The simple answer is, YES! Work placement students so enjoy their experience with Kuju that they regularly apply to join us when they graduate.
We take students for short summer work placements as well as longer one year industrial placements. This is an extremely popular option for students
wishing to gain real work experience in games development and consequently can often be oversubscribed so please apply well in advance for a placement.
Graduate Profile
"When I started work at Kuju I was pleasantly surprised at how laid back the atmosphere here is.
My colleagues are both friendly and helpful, and I am given the opportunity to work on some areas
of development that are of a personal interest to me - which is great! The teams are also
very sociable, often organising nights out and playing games during lunch times. Everyone here
has a passion for games; this means that everyone is willing to work really hard, particularly on
the run up to the completion of a game.
In light of this people shouldn't be under the illusion
that the industry is all "fun and games"; occasionally we have to work pretty late to meet milestones
and such. More often than not the hard work is worth it though. Working at Kuju definitely seems
to entail being a "large cog in the wheel" so to speak. My work always forms a substantial portion
of the projects I work on; everyone's contributions make a big difference. Feeling like you play an
important role makes the work all the more rewarding. There is also a great abundance of talent in
all fields here; it's great being able to work with bright people, exchanging ideas and such. Best
of all though, we're making games!" - James Gilby, Programmer, doublesix
We will be attending graduate recruitment fairs throughout the year so keep checking our website for updates on this.
